To strengthen the bond between home and school, our institute conducted comprehensive home visits during the winter break, using a blend of online and offline approaches. Institute leaders Li Jianqing, Qu Xiaolin, Teng Shuai, and Zhu Lei, along with class advisors Sun Weihua and Wang Yiyi, traveled to locations including Jiaozuo in Henan, Jingzhou and Xiangyang in Hubei, Jinan in Shandong, and Haikou in Hainan to visit our current students and alumni in person. Other class advisors engaged in "cloud visits" through online parent-teacher and class Youth League Committee meetings.
During these in-person visits, teachers engaged deeply with each family, spending time to understand the students' family situations and their holiday plans, sharing insights on the students' academic performance and scholarship statuses, providing guidance on studies, graduate entrance exam preparations, and career planning, and explaining national and school-specific financial support policies. They also listened to feedback from parents and students on the institute's operations.
Home visits serve as a vital bridge enhancing school-home communication, playing a crucial role in the ideological and political education of university students. Moving forward, our institute remains committed to its core mission of moral education, strengthening these connections to support the holistic development and well-being of our students.
