From October 31,2019 to November 3,2019, the sixth National College of Pharmacy/Chinese Pharmacy College Students'Experimental Skills Competition, sponsored by the Joint Meeting of the Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Colleges and Universities, was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Yao Jun and Wang Yifei, two students of Grade 2016 selected by the National Experimental Teaching and Demonstration Center of National Pharmacy in our college, won the second and third prize respectively. The National College of Pharmacy/Chinese Pharmacy College Students'Experimental Skills Competition is one of the brand activities organized by the Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education on the Teaching of Pharmacy Specialty and the Joint Meeting of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Colleges and Universities. 714 representatives of teachers and students from 122 universities including Peking University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Tianjin University, Sun Yat-sen University, Xiamen University, China Pharmaceutical University and Shanghai University of traditional Chinese Medicine participated in the competition. The competition is divided into two parts: the theoretical written test and the practical operation, which comprehensively examine the mastery of the students'pharmaceutical knowledge points and the experimental hands-on ability, and reflect the level of the undergraduate experimental teaching in each school. College leaders attach great importance to this competition, through the competition to understand the national pharmacy undergraduate education, especially the status of experimental teaching, more important is to find the short board of undergraduate experimental teaching in our college, which provides the basis for the reform and innovation of practical teaching in the future. The contestants of our college also strengthen the communication with the teachers and students of the fraternal colleges through participating in this competition.
