On may 31,2019, at the invitation of professor lei xinxiang of our institute, su xuncheng of nankai university came to our institute for academic exchange. The report will be chaired by Vice-President Lei Xinxiang. Professor Su Xuncheng has been engaged in the research of chemical biology, bioinorganic chemistry and biological nuclear magnetic resonance methodology for a long time. In this report, Professor Su explained the principle, strategy and function of protein targeting, and introduced that his group has developed a new paramagnetic probe of point-specific protein labeling, which can be used for protein targeting efficiently, and provide an effective scheme for the study of protein spatial structure based on pseudochemical shift (PCS). In the second part, he introduces the efficient, novel paramagnetic probes developed by the research group for the study of structural biology, especially in the study of intracellular (In-Cell) protein interaction precise analysis shows excellent properties, and forms effective complementary with other techniques such as conventional fluorescent proteins, providing new ideas and schemes for the study of molecular mechanisms. Professor Su's wonderful report, especially on the design and function of the probe, attracted great interest from the teachers and students present here.
